Hello everyone! This is the first web site I made. I know up to now, the only thing cool in this site is the background. I am going to change the whole thing later when I have a good idea. If you are interested in my picture, it is somewhere in my site.
Okay, about myself, I am a Taiwanese. That's basically about myself. The others are not quite important. Amm, I have been here since the summer of 1996. After I came here, I studied in the high school here for two years, and the rest of my life in this country is in this school!! Many people asked me about the difference between here and Taiwan. To me, there are not many difference. In Taiwan, I went to school everyday; here, I still need to go to school everyday. I think the biggest difference is that I need to use English a lot here. Why I came here? It was because I failed my English class and almost failed my Chinese class there. It must be strange to most of the people because I came here was due to the fail in my English class. Actually, If I had chosen to stayed in Taiwan, I would have had to study both Chinese and English. On the other hand, after I came here, I only need to study English. Life here is much easier. After coming here, I have more time to play computer games. Normally, when I was in high school, I almost play fours of computer games and be online whenever I have time. To me, computer is like a big toy for me. I can play with it everyday and all day long if there is nobody kicking me away from the seat.... I have no idea what I will be if there is no computer. Think about this, a world with no computer....... it is terrible although in most ages of human history, there was no computer. Okay, that's enough about myself. I will update something new every week.
About how computer network effect my life, I think it save me a lot of time and money. I can get almost all kinds of software from the network. Although it takes some time to download stuff, comparing to the time driving to a computer store, finding the software, and pay for whatever I want, it is worth to wait for the loading. Everything in the network is free as long as I do not want to show them my credit card number. I can also get all kinds of information from the net. I can check out my grade without leaving my room.... Anyway, in one sentence, computer network save me a lot of time and money. If there is no internet, I think I wouldn't want to buy the computer I am using now. It is hard to picture living in a world with so many computers, but no computer is connected....
